Winter is not gone...yet! New handmade wool scarves

Hello!
Two good things happened in the past few days: 1) We found a new beautiful home and 2) I got the job I interviewed for :)
Anyway, this is not what I wanted to talk about today, today I will show you my new, beautiful handmade scarves.
These beauties are handmade with 100% Italian wool of an amazing quality. They are warm and fluffy for the cold days still to come. Judge for yourself :)
They have a felt embellishment as closure and the colours are just beautiful.
The closure of the first scarf pictured is a magnet while the other two closures work like a button.

It's cupcake time! Beautiful handmade felt bookmark and brooch

Happy Friday everyone!
I hope your weekend has started in the best possible way, I know mine has :)
Next week it's going to be the last at the cafè where I have been working for almost two months. Although it wasn't my dream job, I feel a bit sad because I know I will miss my amazing colleague Isabel and I was also getting fond of some customers. It's amazing how some people can change your mood with just a smile or few sweet words.

I am travelling, (yes, again), going back home for 11 days and after that I will start working as a Project Manager, finally!

In Italy I will travel around, since I am not going alone :) We are going to visit the beautiful Cinque Terre. These are 5 small villages on the coast of Liguria (not far from Genoa) and they have been declared UNESCO world heritage site and this is why:

This is a unique place, you won't find anything like this anywhere else...
We are also going to Verona and Venice, to meet some friends....oh, I can't wait to see a proper sun!!

Anyway, my last creations are made out of felt, very nice and sweet. It is a cupcake brooch and a cupcake bookmark! All I had to do, was to decide the shape of the muffin, draw it on paper, cut the paper, pin it on the felt and cut. And then, sew sew sew!

I really like them and I am going to make some more. As always they're on sale, just send me a private msg, for more information you can also decide the colour and shape!
Have a looke at them and tell me what do you think!

New felt brooches!

Hello Sunday!
I haven't been very active online this week, but I have been doing some pretty things!
I had to cover my collegue, who was in Spain and this meant that I had to start at 6 am! So I went to sleep very early every night....hopefully from Monday I will start at 7 again. I know it may seem as early, but it makes a huge difference to wake up at 5:30 instead of 6:30....but anyway, I like waking up early (ok, maybe not at 5:30, but still....).

I did some new felt brooches :) Since I received my first Etsy order, I really wanted to do something out of all those beautiful felt sheets. I was looking for something easy and quite plain and I thik these little flowers are perfect, just what I had in mind.

As always, they are on sale :)

The background of these pictures is the beautiful woolen round-necked scarf, made by my mum. I wrote a post about that you can check here.
I hope you liked my new brooches and I hope you are having a lovely week end,

ciao ciao

New handmade felt brooches

Good evening,
I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything in almost one week...I don't really have an excuse for that, I've just been lazy I guess...
Anyway, here I am.
I was sitting at the computer yesterday and the desk was covered in stuff....it was just a mess and then I glanced at the mug I use as a pen holder and it made me laugh, have a look:

It's so true, this is a wise mug!!

Ok, now back to the serious stuff. I made few more felt brooches...I like to make them because they're quick to make, quicker than purses and poches for example, so when I don't have a lot of time I just make a felt brooch. I have to say, I am getting better in making it :)
I ordered on the Internet 24 felt sheets of 24 different colours, so I am just wait for my order to arrive and then I'll do a lot more brooches!

On February the 2nd I will be at Spitafield markets in London!!
I'm looking forward to it and I'm looking forward to seeing you there :)

Speaking of London, here's what I found walking around London Bridge area

Isn't it beautiful? I loved it when I saw it, and I love more the fact that I found it ramdomly.
Well, it's time to bed now, good night everyone,
