And finally it's Friday...I'm sorry, I usually don't like it when people say something like this, because it sounds like if you only live waiting for the weekend, but this week has been very intense, many things changed (in better!), I still have to get used to it and it's tiring so, yes, today I say it, too: thank God it's Friday!
I can't wait to stay up untill late tonight, knowing that tomorrow I can sleep untill I feel like it :)
So, last week I've been to G Baldwin & Co. to buy some lavender oil and flowers because I have had an idea in my mind for a while. I wanted to make something to put inside wardrobes and drawers that smells good. I kept telling myself "I have to go and buy some lavender first" for almost two weeks and I finally found the time to actually go and buy some.
I have to say, I love lavender smell, it's one of my favourite so I was very happy when I found a place not too far from home where I could buy some.
So I went there, bought lavender and once I got home I made three very nice hearts filled with both lavander and the
usual filling, so they stay soft and scented. As always, they are on
sale, just drop me a private message.
They can be hung in
your wardrobe or just placed inside your drawers and your clothes will
smell amazingly!

my very first order from Etsy arrived few days ago and I am very pleased with it :)

I already started to do something with it, but I'll tell you more once I will finish it and have pictures to post.
I now work early in the morning (I start at 7am!!) so forgive me if I stay away from my little corner of the Internet for days. I am also working as private teacher in afternoons/evenings, so I am quite busy.

And so it snows...finally!
I was really looking forward to seeing some snow :) In Italy it snowed a lot last month and I missed it for just a couple of days.
So here's two pictures: the first was taken on Wednesday morning, the second is from this morning.
So, tomorrow I'll probably go around taking some pictures in Brockwell park, it must be very beautiful all covered in snow!

I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything in almost one week...I don't really have an excuse for that, I've just been lazy I guess...
Anyway, here I am.
I was sitting at the computer yesterday and the desk was covered in stuff....it was just a mess and then I glanced at the mug I use as a pen holder and it made me laugh, have a look:
It's so true, this is a wise mug!!
Ok, now back to the serious stuff. I made few more felt brooches...I like to make them because they're quick to make, quicker than purses and poches for example, so when I don't have a lot of time I just make a felt brooch. I have to say, I am getting better in making it :)
I ordered on the Internet 24 felt sheets of 24 different colours, so I am just wait for my order to arrive and then I'll do a lot more brooches!

Days are tough here in London...I am homesick and this weather doesn't help, it's sooo depressing...but luckily I can rely on my sewing machine to lift my spirit!
On Sunday I sewed three beautiful purses and here they are!
I made this beautiful little purse using a different technique from the one I was used to. In this case I sewed the two fabrics together and then inserted the zipper, while I usually sew the zipper and then sew the sides together. Anyway, I made this following this very clear tutorial.
And now the two other purses, made using my usual technique :)
